Our club is the oldest cycling club in the Sunderland area with roots going back into the late 1800's when we formed a section of the National Clarion Cycling Club
. We now have 60+ regularly active club riders and are continuing to grow.
We have a long and successful tradition of sport and leisure cycling - both of which we continue today with members competing in both road/crit racing and time trials. We are predominantly a road cycling club - but many of us head off-road for leisure and racing.
New members are always welcome - please have a look at our Club Runs
pages. Come along to a club run, all abilities are welcome.
Please note days and times for rides and training outlined below may change so make sure you check our Facebook page for confirmed arrangements and other rides available each week.

Club Training Session - Every Wednesday, 6:45pm
Meeting point: B&Q Car park, Ryhope
This is a training ride so expect a good workout. Groups of various speeds form depending on who is out. All are welcome so don't be afraid of coming along to meet club members and give it a go. We meet at 6:45pm for a 7pm start.
Please note we will continue to hold the session at Ryhope for the foreseeable future rather than switch to our summer venue. This is due to safety considerations and the flexibility the Ryhope course offers.
