Up at 06:45 expecting an early breakfast but unfortunately it wasnt until 07:30 so we started to sweet talk the staff in letting us in. It was all out but they was about 40 others waiting to get in and didnt fancy been rushed off without a chef to cook the fry up yet.

Finished brekkie once we got in eventually and had the briefing for 08:30 then off we went.

First brew stop at 19 miles averaged 16mph getting there and nowt to eat just a hot chocolate as breakfast was not long ago.

Then onto lunch stop at Black Dog Inn near blackburn which was sandwiches and pasta. I only had a few sandwiches and pasta as i wasnt hungry still had breakfast in me. Averaged around 15mph getting here. Took it a bit easy.

Then onto the brew stop after going through blackburn then onto the countryside again. Averaged 15mph getting to the brew stop.

After that i bombed it along the last 15 miles at 18.5mph avg. Pushed myself hard and im feeling alright still.

Had a 3 course meal at Conder Green Mill we are staying in. Lovely.

Keswick tomorrow for the last YHA. Think ill detour via kirkstone pass as i want to do that!!

Canal outside Conder Mill.
