Tough day ahead weatherwise as northerly winds and hail/rain showers.

Breakfast for 07:30 consisted of Full English with haggis! Porridge, bowl of cereal and a yoghurt oh and toast.

This was last nights shot before eating.

View from breakfast.

On towards the brew stop at 28 miles in which was well deserved after along the A82 with moderate traffic mostly wagons and motorhomes. Above picture shows commando memorial. This is where we bumped into Ex-Servicemen doing the help for heroes challenge climbing three peaks and ben nevis and a parachute.

On towards lunch stop at fort augustus where sandwiches and soup awaited. 50 mile mark.

Big climb after lunch 5 miles of 6-8% gradient flat in parts then climbed again. Above picture takes in the view.

Only 25 mile to go, skipped the brew stop and just headed to the B&B at inverness. This before getting caught in yet another hailstorm and gusty winds accompianed it.

80 miles done
1400mtrs climbing.

2 days to go then i can enjoy a nice pint of ale.
